Join a Leading Business Information Company as Head of Product Strategy for Limited Partner Strategies
Our client is a premier source of investment intelligence, dedicated to the alternative investments sector. They are seeking a Head of Product Strategy LP to lead their product initiatives catering to insight on Limited Partner strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the strategy development for product offerings targeting Limited Partners, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Technology, Data, Sales, and Marketing to ensure cohesive product execution.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to develop a nuanced understanding of their needs and expectations.
4. Act as the advocate for Limited Partners, ensuring their voice influences product development and enhancements.
5. Analyze market trends, competitive positioning, and customer usage data to inform product enhancements and new developments.
6. Provide insights and recommendations for product roadmaps and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
7. Monitor industry developments and adjust product strategy as needed to maintain competitiveness.
8. Develop clear business cases for product initiatives and coordinate efforts for on-time and on-budget delivery.
9. Engage with the Sales and Marketing teams to effectively communicate product value propositions and foster growth within existing and new client segments.
10. Serve as a subject matter expert on LP products, supporting sales initiatives through presentations and client engagements.
Requirements
1. Proven experience in data product strategy or management serving the financial services industry, particularly in private equity, alternative investments or the asset management industry.
2. Strong understanding of the needs and behaviors of Limited Partners and an appreciation for the complexities of the investment ecosystem.
3. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
4. Proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
5. Demonstrated analytical skills to assess market opportunities and translate findings into actionable strategies.
6. Experience in project management with a track record of delivering initiatives on time and within budget.
