We have an exciting opportunity available with one of our healthcare clients within the Midlands to join them for 21 months as a Workstream Lead. The role is a great fit for people with previous healthcare/EPR experience, experience in digital delivery and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Duties
* Lead and oversee a specialised workstream from initiation to completion, ensuring the successful delivery of a broader transformation programme within agreed timelines and scope.
* Ensure system configuration aligns with and supports future-state processes.
* Work closely with administrators and support staff to understand operational and clinical workflows within the focus area and their integration into broader organisational processes.
* Develop and implement change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new systems and associated processes.
* Escalate issues, risks, and key decisions through appropriate governance structures.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including operational teams, technical professionals, and external partners, to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
* Utilise strong technical expertise to oversee key aspects such as system integration, data migration, software implementation, and configuration.
* Identify and mitigate programme risks by developing appropriate strategies.
* Monitor programme performance and provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
* Interpret and manage complex and sensitive information from senior programme members.
* Support system adoption and optimisation, including pre-launch preparations, go-live support, and post-implementation improvements.
* Document and communicate lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
Personal Specification
* Extensive and recent experience in a system configuration role.
* Experience in change management and business transformation.
* Strong background in IT system implementation, with an understanding of business change management principles.
* In-depth knowledge of relevant systems and operational workflows.
* Proficient in IT, including system integration and software deployment.
* Strong attention to detail, including the ability to develop plans and produce reports.
* Proven leadership and project management capabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience in delivering presentations to senior leadership and decision-making bodies.
