If so, we want to hear from you About the Role: We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic primary school team from January 2025. You will take a leading role in managing the school’s SEN Unit, working closely with pupils who have complex needs. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Responsibilities: Managing the day-to-day operations of the SEN Unit. Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs, fostering their development and well-being. Developing and implementing tailored learning strategies to meet individual pupil needs. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external professionals to create an inclusive learning environment. Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and adapting support plans as needed. Promoting a positive and nurturing atmosphere that inspires confidence and learning. Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with complex needs. Strong understanding of strategies and interventions for supporting SEN pupils. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices. Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) is desirable. A valid DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply). Why Join Us?
