Fraser Carver recruitment are working with a small company who have grown rapidly over the last couple of years and have ambitious plans for the future. As such, they are looking for a finance assistant to join the business to support their Finance Director with a lot of the day to day finance duties. Key responsibilities will include: Day to day processing of accounts payable invoices Accurate and timely completion of bank reconciliations Assisting with aged debtor collection and credit control Processing of employee expenses Month-end reconciliations and relevant journals Accruals, prepayments and provisions Assissting with montly VAT return preperation Administrative support to the finance department We are looking for someone with good all round accounts experience ideally gained within a small company. This role will be very hands on as this will be the only other finance team member, so you will need to be happy with rolling your sleeves up and doing the more mundane tasks as well as the more interesting work. Definite scope for this role to grow in responsibility as the business matures. This is a hybrid role, likely to be c.3 days a week in the offices and 2 from home.
