The General Intensive Care Unit at the Bristol Royal Infirmary has an exciting opportunity due to expansion for a Band 4 Critical Care Administrator.
There is no better time to join Critical care at UHBW. With our new build and expansion of Critical Care services. We are also commissioned for the Bristol ECMO service for the South West and have an established Outreach and Research team.
You will join our team in our General Intensive Care unit who care for patients from diverse specialties across the region as we are a tertiary referral centre for thoracic, ENT, GI surgery, oncology, cardiac and ECMO. This incorporates emergencies, planned elective care and long term rehabilitation for critically dependent patients .
We have a shared culture on inclusiveness within our unit and work collaboratively with our large multi-disciplinary team including medical staff, therapists, dietitians, pharmacy, speech and language, research and SNOD's to provide excellent care for our patients.

• In partnership with other professionals and disciplines, support the administrative function within Critical Care.
• Demonstrating awareness and compliance with Trust policies, procedures, guidelines and working towards promoting this to others.
• Provide a high level of rota coordination and support the administrative needs of the A600 team.
• Be responsible for maintaining the electronic rostering system, highlighting and resolving shift vacancies in the rota and being a point of contact for queries from the nursing team.
• The post holder will also work closely with the Clinical Matron/Supervisory Ward Sisters, Charge Nurses, Practice Educators and Nursing team to ensure day to day management of the administrative function within Critical Care service.
