We are a friendly and inclusive primary school in Dudley, seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team in supporting pupils with a variety of special educational needs (SEN). This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of children with diverse needs, including Autism, ADHD, physical disabilities, and social/emotional difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Providing tailored support for pupils with different SEN needs, both in and outside the classroom. Assisting with personal care when necessary (e.g., toileting, feeding) in a respectful and compassionate manner. Supporting the class teacher to implement differentiated activities and learning strategies. Engaging pupils through sensory-based learning, promoting inclusion and independence. Working closely with the SENCO, teachers, and other professionals to create effective learning plans for each child. Demonstrating a flexible, adaptable, and positive approach to meet the changing needs of the students. Encouraging the development of key skills such as social interaction, communication, and emotional regulation. About You: You hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable. You have a friendly, adaptable, and flexible approach to your work and are committed to supporting students in their learning journey. You have the ability to manage multiple tasks and respond proactively to the changing needs of SEN pupils. You are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children, helping them to reach their full potential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
