Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and passionate service leader to lead a brand new service across Bradford District & Craven. We are looking for a Service Manager to join our senior leadership team at Invictus Wellbeing, leading the Youth in Mind Counselling and Therapeutic Service. The service will offer a range of person centred counselling and therapeutic support to children and young people (5-18), with flexibility to extend to 25 for those with additional needs across Bradford District & Craven as part of the Youth in Mind partnership. The Youth in Mind partnership is made up of organisations working across Bradford District & Craven and is managed by Bradford District and Craven Mind. Therefore strong partnership working and collaborative working is essential for this role. The Service Manager will lead a team of counsellors and mental health professionals to deliver the highest quality service, ensuring that young people across Bradford District and Craven have timely, effective and accessible counselling and mental health support. The service manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the service and overseeing the delivery throughout the contract with support from our central team. The Service Manager will be directly responsible to the CEO/Ops Manager and deliver across a series of Key Performance Indicators to ensure the service is developed and delivered to achieve incredible outcomes for children, young people and families. Main duties of the job To lead and be the face of Youth in Mind, Counselling & Therapeutic Support Service To implement our mobilisation plan, strategic plan and oversee the delivery of YiMC&TSS To create and sustain effective partnerships and relationships with all partners of YiM and wider partners to ensure effective referral and signposting pathways, to avoid duplication and to lead effective partnership working. To manage a team of 4-8 staff effectively with monthly management supervision and ensuring relevant training and development of the team. To lead by example and create a positive, creative and inclusive team through instilling a culture in line with our core values and the principles of YiM. Be responsible for the development of the service, ensuring that KPIs are being achieved and addressing problems early. To ensure the service is authentically youth and community led and that we use feedback to continually improve and develop our service offer To ensure any safeguarding concerns or risk is identified quickly and that staff are supported to manage these appropriately within existing policy frameworks. To complete quarterly and monthly reports on the impact and effectiveness of the service to be submitted internally and externally.
