Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor (Temporary - 3 Months) Location: Victoria, London Industry: Construction / Mechanical & Electrical Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Supervisor for a 3-month temporary position based in Victoria, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to lead and oversee mechanical installations on a high-profile site. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the mechanical package on-site, including managing the installation of a small AC room and five fan units. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the installation and commissioning of the mechanical systems on site. Oversee the installation of a small AC room and five fan units for the water system (chilling and heating), ensuring quality and compliance with design specifications. Coordinate with the project team to ensure all mechanical works are completed on time and within budget. Provide leadership to a small team, ensuring safety protocols and quality standards are met. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the installation process. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed and up to date, including work schedules, material requisitions, and safety reports. Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the availability of materials and equipment. Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.Qualifications: Proven experience in a supervisory role within the mechanical construction or HVAC industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including AC and fan unit installations. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Previous experience working on construction sites, with a good understanding of health and safety regulations. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and resolve technical issues effectively.
