Purchasing Advisor/ Analyst
Manpower current have a great opportunity to join the lovely team of one of our large, established, automotive clients situated within Milton Keynes as a Purchasing Advisor.
The role is based within the fleet department who facilitate the order and delivery of new vehicles whilst building customer and supplier relationships, so previous experience operating within this sector would be very advantageous.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate time management, excellent customer service and have a dynamic, inquisitive, and curious personality. Equally you'll have advanced data management and process review experience as this will form part of the role, as well as being comfortable supporting the existing team leader/manager in delegating tasks to ensure SLA's are met within the wider team.
Main responsibilities:
Communication with Customers and Vehicle Suppliers to identify vehicle requirements
Liaising with nominated dealers/obtaining quotations and issuing vehicle purchase orders.
Progressing vehicle orders weekly, keeping systems and customers updated
Liaison between dealer and customer to arrange new vehicle delivery
Payment of supplier vehicle invoices
Ensuring reporting is conducted and kept up to date
Responsible for a wide range of administrative duties and inter departmental activities
Producing weekly/monthly business and third party reports and manipulating data into presentable formats
Support the team manager with prioritisation of workload/tasks to ensure agreed SLA's are met, both personally and for the team
Experience:
Existing knowledge of automotive products and other manufacturers
Understanding of fleet leasing solutions
Data management experience including reviewing processes and reporting whilst proposing efficiency's and process enhancements when identified
Advanced MS Excel/Data Manipulation skillset, including functions such as vlookup, pivot tables, summary tables and charts and interactive report pack decks
A team player with the ability to work under pressure in order to meet strict deadlines
Confident and customer-focused in communicating both by telephone and face to face.
This is a temporary contract with the possibility of ongoing extension. You would be working on site 35 hours per week, 9:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday with a pay rate of £14.53 per hour.
