Compassion … Respect …. Excellence… Collaboration… Integrity... do you share our values?

Peer workers… multi-disciplinary teams… transformation… new partnerships… organisational change – do these excite you?
If the answer to these is ‘Yes’, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of people experiencing early psychosis to join our Early Intervention team in North Warwickshire and Rugby.

Job responsibilities
It is essential that candidates have post qualification experience of working with people with psychosis. Experience in delivering CBT and family interventions with people with first episode psychosis, including those with complex presentations and trauma, is highly desirable. Experience of using trauma-focused interventions is also highly desirable. You are required to hold a current professional registration with the HCPC, and it would be advantageous to be BABCP accredited or have passed a BABCP accredited CBT training course. A recognised qualification, current training or commitment to undertake training in CBT for psychosis is highly desirable. The ability to travel over a large geographical area may still be necessary on occasion. The ability to work flexibly with the needs of the client group is essential.
We support our psychologists to develop their skills, particularly in developing specialist skills in working with psychosis, trauma and family work. There will be exciting opportunities to complete HEE funded courses on CBT for psychosis (CBTp) and Behavioural Family Therapy. We also encourage and support our psychologists to undertake EMDR training and there are opportunities for regular EMDR supervision. We welcome people with an interest in research, particular areas of clinical practice or particular types of intervention, and will give dedicated time for these.
Please note: It is mandatory requirement for all newly appointed staff to be registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Update Service.
