Job Title: Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator (Deputy Manager) Location: Sleaford, with travel to other homes required Salary: £36,000 per annum Car Allowance/Mileage Industry: Elderly Care Job Summary: Our client, a respected leader in elderly care services, is looking for a Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator (Deputy Manager) to join their team. This key position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of elderly residents while supporting the development and compliance of care services across multiple locations. As the Compliance & Training Support Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the team adheres to regulatory standards and that all training requirements are met. You’ll be a key figure in assisting with staff training, monitoring compliance, and providing the necessary support for care teams across several care homes. Key Responsibilities: Support the Deputy Manager in ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and regulations across multiple homes. Coordinate and support the development and delivery of training programs to ensure staff maintain required certifications and competencies. Conduct audits and reviews to ensure care standards meet all legal, regulatory, and quality benchmarks. Support in the development and implementation of care home policies and procedures. Assist in the development and monitoring of care plans, focusing on quality improvements. Provide advice and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters. Travel to various care homes within the region, offering training support and compliance checks. Essential Qualifications/Skills: Previous experience in a care home or health and social care sector, preferably in a management or compliance role. Strong understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams. A proactive approach with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Full UK driving license (due to travel requirements). Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care) or equivalent experience. Desirable: Experience in elderly care and understanding of elderly care regulations.
