Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced CAD & Project Manager to join our team. This key role will involve managing the design and execution of projects, utilizing CAD software to produce high-quality designs while overseeing project timelines, budgets, and team dynamics.
Job Role:
1. Design Development:
Create and develop detailed CAD drawings, plans, and 3D models that align with project specifications and client visions.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to refine designs and ensure feasibility.
2. Project Management:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor all phases of projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Allocate resources effectively, managing project costs and schedules.
3. Collaboration and Communication:
Act as the main point of contact for clients, communicating design progress and project updates.
Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss project goals, progress, challenges, and solutions.
4. Quality Assurance:
Ensure that all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and address any design or construction issues.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including designs, contracts, and communications.
Prepare project reports summarizing progress, budget analysis, and performance metrics.
Skills & Experience:
1. Proven experience in CAD design and project management, preferably in the retail, commercial fit-out sector.
2. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor).
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging clients and stakeholders.
6. PMP, CAD, or other related certifications are advantageous.
