An esteemed Primary School and Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic classroom teacher with a passion for delivering exceptional education to join their EY team as a Reception Teacher for LAT. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of elevating educational standards and providing inspirational teaching and learning in EY. Teaching Responsibilities:
* Develop, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse needs of children, focusing specifically on EY (reception) curriculum requirements and learning objectives.
* Employ effective teaching strategies to engage and inspire children, ensuring that academic goals are met.
* Evaluate and monitor student progress, providing consistent feedback and setting EY (reception) improvement targets.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create curriculum materials that enhance learning experiences and share best practices for EY (reception) education.
* Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behaviour and positive relationships among EY (reception) children.
* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on EY (reception) student progress and address any concerns specific to EY (reception).
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities as required, with a focus on EY (reception) educational strategies.
Requirements:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Proven experience teaching EY (reception) children in a primary school setting.
* Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
* Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up to date with the latest educational practices.
* Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
