We are seeking an experienced Senior Track Design Project Manager to join our team in Toronto.
About the Role
This is a permanent position requiring relocation to Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating signal and communication activities, as well as stakeholders from transfer to close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and comment on design deliverables provided by designers, consultants, and suppliers.
* Responsible for track life cycle assurance for rail corridors within the project portfolio, including conceptual design development and design reviews.
* Ensure functional coordination across a matrix organization.
* Verify and validate evidence from Design, Construction, and Testing and Commissioning teams.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical, electrical, electronics, or transportation management, or a related field.
* 5+ years of experience in transit and railway design and construction management in track systems.
* Experience managing large, complex, multi-year transit projects in an operational environment, for signaling and Communication systems and related works.
* Advanced understanding of track standards and AREMA.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Salary & Benefits
The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
