North Tyneside Council is looking for an experienced Electrician to complete electrical repairs to their tenants homes. Applicants must have asbestos awareness, manual handling and have served a full apprenticeship programme.
Job Description:
Installing new electrical wiring, lighting fixtures, power outlets, smoke detectors, and other electrical appliances in homes.
Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults such as faulty wiring, blown fuses, flickering lights, tripped circuit breakers, and malfunctioning appliances.
Identifying the source of electrical problems and implementing solutions to resolve them effectively.
Modifying existing electrical circuits to accommodate additional power needs or new appliances.
Ensuring all electrical work adheres to local building codes and safety standards.
Interpreting electrical plans and schematics to accurately install wiring systems.
Communicating with homeowners to understand their needs, explaining electrical issues, and providing estimates for repairs.
