An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and empathic people person to join our Community Roots based at the Chai Centre Burnley. You will be customer focused with a passion for engaging with the community and helping people access a wide range of health and wellbeing opportunities.
You will provide front-line reception duties, welcoming all to Community Roots, whilst maintaining and updating clerical records that support the operational delivery of the service.
Applications are encouraged from individuals with demonstrable experience in working with communities and mental health care services.
At Community Roots we offer courses that are co-designed, alongside people with lived experience and professionals by experience, to help people find accessible and fun health and wellbeing opportunities important to them.

The post holder will provide reception and administration cover for the Trust’s innovative community health and wellbeing Community Roots at the Chai Centre, Burnley.
You will be expected to welcome visitors, learners, partners and community members face to face and by telephone.
The post holder will also be expected to undertake general clerical duties including: organizing and co-ordinating the day to day function of the centre and supporting external partners who will be using the site.
The post holder will be expected to demonstrate initiative in developing and supporting administration throughout the Recovery & Resilience team, acting in a professional manner at all times.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
