Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit experienced Solicitors & Paralegals in our well-established residential conveyancing team.
The role will involve:
· Dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing including:
· Taking a client’s instructions
· Advising clients on legal issues relating to their case
· Drafting documents, letters and contracts tailored to the client’s individual needs
· Negotiating with clients and other professionals to secure agreed objectives
· Coordinating the work of all parties involved
· Corresponding with clients and opposing solicitors
· Working in a busy team, referring cases to relevant partner as required
· Arranging and attending further client meetings where necessary to progress with the case and finalise documentation
· Keep up to date with changes and developments in the law by undertaking a range of CPD activities throughout career.
· Manage a high-volume caseload as delegated by the work allocation team.
· Provide excellent client service to ensure the values of the firm are being always represented.
The successful candidate will:
* Have extensive knowledge and experience in residential conveyancing law
* Be well organised and attentive to detail
* Have excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise large workloads
* Have good communication skills
* Work effectively on own as well as with other team members
* Comfortable with common Microsoft programmes including Outlook, Word and Excel
