Job Title: Qualified social worker

Working hours: Mon - Fri, 08:45 - 17:00
Rate: £30 per hour
The Bury Council is currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Social Worker to join their Adults Safeguarding team, offering a pay rate of £30 per hour.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will manage a dynamic and complex caseload, balancing risk, choice, and individual rights. You will also undertake duty worker functions to screen new safeguarding concerns, manage immediate risks, and make decisions per Section 42 criteria. You will engage in mental capacity and best interest work, including Court of Protection when necessary. Additionally, you will support students, newly qualified, and less experienced colleagues with their development and complex cases. You will lead Section 42 enquiries under the Care Act 2014, focusing on achieving customer outcomes and promoting 'Making Safeguarding Everybody's Business'.

Hold a full UK licence
