About the Role
Waythrough is opening a new Health and Wellbeing Hub in Newton Aycliffe and seeks to appoint a Hub Co-ordinator. This role involves managing the community hub's facilities efficiently, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and organized environment for staff, volunteers, and community members.
The Co-ordinator will oversee daily operations, coordinate events, manage volunteers, and maintain the hub as a vibrant community resource.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
2. Report repairs to the Landlord or Premises Team.
3. Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors for repairs and upgrades.
4. Work with community groups and internal teams to schedule and facilitate events and activities.
5. Manage room bookings and ensure proper setup for events.
6. Represent the community hub positively, fostering good relationships with users and stakeholders.
