Title: Right to Buy Coordinator

Location: BS1 6AG
Rate: £14.60 per hour PAYE
Hours: 37.00 hours a week.
Work Pattern: Monday - Friday
Hours Per Week: 37 Hrs
To provide an excellent, effective, and compliant Right to Buy (RTB) Service to our residential customers demonstrating our core values and behaviours. Adhering to Statutory guidance and timescales for RTB applications reducing both financial and reputational risk.
To work as part of a Home Ownership team to provide an excellent core Landlord service to our customers, ensuring the management is in accordance with the terms of Leases, Legislation, Regulation, and Best Practice.
Key job outcomes/accountabilities
1. Establish, develop, and maintain working relationships with colleagues to ensure an efficient and effective RTB Service, including Legal Services, Property Services, and Valuations Service.
2. Deliver the highest level of service to customers ensuring queries, requests, and actions required as part of the RTB Service meet its Statutory timescales from receipt of RTB applications, eligibility checks, liaising with other Social Housing Providers and internal stakeholders through to RTB completions.
3. Contribute to service improvement work, sharing Good Practice, and improving efficiency for the benefit of the council, Home Ownership Service.
4. Deliver excellent service to the rest of the organisation, working with colleagues to ensure customers receive a value for money service supporting the Home Ownership Manager to provide cover for the Home Ownership team as required.
5. Respond to a range of written, telephone, and face-to-face enquiries from a variety of sources (internal/external), either directly or in more complex cases by referral to an appropriate colleague/section to ensure satisfactory resolution.
6. Explain RTB processes, lease obligations, and service charges to prospective and actual leaseholders/other directorates/external bodies.
7. Respond to customer complaints and feedback liaising with internal and external stakeholders so appropriate, proportionate action can be taken.
8. Maintain accurate records and data on IT systems/housing management systems as appropriate to ensure accuracy of management information, supporting the Home Ownership Management team in responding to complaints and any requests for compensation due to breaches in RTB statutory timescales.
9. Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and to meet the changing needs of the organisation in the support of a customer-focused Home Ownership service.
