Job Title: Wraparound Care Supervisor
Hours: Monday to Friday, 15:00 to 18:00 + 3 hours for admin/planning (18 hours total, job shares are welcome to apply)
We are looking for an enthusiastic Wraparound Care Supervisor to join a remote school setting in Chichester, providing after-school care for primary-aged children. This role is integral to the school’s childcare provision, requiring a dedicated individual to lead the wraparound club. Your duties will include managing bookings, planning engaging activities, overseeing stock and orders, and leading the daily club sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise the after-school wraparound care, providing a safe, enjoyable environment for primary-aged children.
* Organise and manage club bookings, ensuring an accurate attendance record.
* Plan and lead engaging activities each session that cater to the interests and development needs of children.
* Conduct regular stock checks, place orders as needed, and ensure all supplies are readily available.
* Complete three hours of administrative and planning work weekly to keep the club running smoothly.
* Communicate effectively with parents and school staff, fostering a positive environment for children and their families.
Essential Experience/Attributes:
* Previous experience working with children in an after-school or childcare setting.
* Excellent organisational skills for managing bookings, orders, and activity planning.
* Reliable and flexible, with the ability to create engaging, child-focused experiences.
* Valid UK driver’s license and access to a car, as the school is in a remote location.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
* Ability to follow school safeguarding and health & safety policies.
* DBS check registered on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
