The Federation of Gardners Lane and Oakwood Primary Schools is looking to establish brand new after-school wraparound provision in the form of an After School Club. This is to be a fun and engaging provision that provides our children with stimulating after school activities and aids our parents/carers in being able to meet the demands of busy working lives. We are looking to recruit an After School Club Lead to help develop and lead the new provision along with two After School Club Assistants for each School. We can offer a range of training and support and the opportunity to work in truly rewarding roles. The After-School Club Lead role will:
* Plan sessions within the provision
* Support After-school club assistants to fulfil their role
* Act as Designated safeguarding lead for the provision (Training provided)
* Liaise with Parents and School Management, Finance and Admin Staff
The After School Club Assistants will assist the Lead in delivering the provision. For ALL roles we are looking for:
* Enthusiastic and committed members of staff
* Staff passionate about providing the best care for our children
* Staff that can show initiative; adapt to the needs of our children
* Staff are fun and engaging and enjoy spending time with children
* Staff that are good listeners and can support children when required
We are flexible about the skills and experience required. It is suitable for someone with school experience or other work with children, or someone with the relevant qualifications seeking a new challenge. It is thought that the Lead, due to having some Safeguarding responsibilities will be trained to NVQ Level 3. Appropriate training and support will be offered to all post-holders.
The contract is Fixed term, initially, for 17.5hrs; Term time only - Monday to Friday 15:00hrs - 18:30hrs Approximate salary is based on level of qualification and or experience ranging from: Grade 3 - 4: £9,552 - £10,557 Grade 4 - 5: £10,041 - £11,297 Please ONLY use the application form available at our website Appointments to the school are made with reference to the latest safeguarding guidance and, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education, we may conduct online searches for shortlisted candidates.
