Specialised Cardiac Clinical Physiologist
Full time 37.5 hours per week. Fixed term for 12 months.
Bolton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Cardiac Investigation Unit have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Specialised Clinical Physiologist to join our busy and friendly team to support services within the Community Diagnostic Centre. The successful candidate will be integral in developing an ambulatory monitoring service for GP's.
Main duties of the job
This role would be ideal for a physiologist interested in working in ECG analysis and ambulatory monitor fitting. The role will initially be assisting in the development and implementation of an ambulatory monitoring service at the CDC. You will be expected to triage the referral selecting the most appropriate monitor and duration of monitoring period. You will also be expected to analyse the recording and generate a report to send to the requesting GP. There will be support available from within the Cardiac Investigation Unit.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSc Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent
* RCCP membership or evidence of eligibility to apply
* BLS (Basic Life Support)
* ILS (Immediate Life Support)
Skills
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge Training & Expertise
* Have a strong underpinning knowledge of resting ECG's
* Experience in fitting, analysing and interpretation of ambulatory ECG monitoring
* Ability to produce a written report to include interpretation of ECG during symptomatic events
