The role:
You will have the autonomy to lead in your role while collaborating with the team to deliver high-quality dispute resolution services to a diverse client base, including commercial and corporate clients, public and private companies, public authorities (such as universities), retailers, and other well-known brands.
Our team deals with all types of commercial disputes, in particular complex and high value commercial and contractual litigation, as well as corporate disputes and professional negligence claims. We pride ourselves on our technical expertise and resources to deliver the best possible solutions for our clients, ranging from large household names and multi-billion pound turnover companies to small owner managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing assistance to experienced lawyers on a broad range of dispute resolution work
* Representing clients and our firm in court appearances- in-person and via webX
* Liaising with clients and colleagues in a professional manner
* Building up caseloads of cases
* Attending client meetings
* Handling queries and enquiries efficiently
* Maintaining good file management
* Working to strict deadlines
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Skills and experience you will have:
* Experience and competence in a range of IT applications i.e. Microsoft Office, Aderant, iManage
* Qualified fee earner experience in dispute resolution or a similar specialism that involves court appearances
* Court experience advantageous
