Your new company
My client is a rapidly expanding Top 50 accountancy practice, focussing on ultra-high-net-worth individuals, private and entrepreneurial businesses. Due to their growth, they are looking for a Senior Tax Manager or Associate Director to join their Private Client team in an advisory-based capacity.
Your new role
1. Manage and grow a varied portfolio of private tax clients
2. Advise clients on a full range of services including CGT, international tax, property tax, tax returns, trusts & estates and IHT.
3. Review more complex tax returns and computations
4. Play a key role in networking and marketing activities to win private client tax compliance and consultancy work
5. Work closely with Shaw Gibbs Partners and the corporate tax team to ensure the firm is providing a full range of high quality tax services for our clients
6. Take an active involvement in monitoring the team's KPIs
7. Assist with the development and implementation of the local private client tax business strategy, consulting and drawing upon the expertise of the Board
8. Help to plan and manage the work being delivered by the Private Client Tax team
9. Be involved in line management and development of members of the Private Client Tax team
10. Develop the relationships with the Firm's International network
What you'll need to succeed
You will be ATT or CTA qualified with demonstrable experience in private client tax advisory work. You will have managed a portfolio of clients offering advice across a range of topics. Excellent relationship management skills are a must.
