About You
You are very organised, tenacious, a good communicator and a team player. You enjoy the administrative work. You take ownership of your work and ensure deadlines are met. You are proficient using Microsoft Office including Teams and Excel. You have strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures, and a positive can do attitude. Additionally, a proactive approach to learning and growing your skills is crucial, as it enables you to stay updated with the latest HR practices and technologies.
THE ROLE
You will provide administrative support to the HR Manager and other managers throughout the business, assisting with recruitment, employee record management, benefits administration, and employee relations. You will be expected to demonstrate a strong work ethic when it comes to delivering an exceptional HR service. The job involves a wide range of administrative tasks, such as managing ATS databases, background screening, interview booking, policy drafting, and HR reporting. You will also be responsible for reporting on headcount, turnover and absence statistics.
The role requires an open mind to using new technology including AI to improve efficiency and breadth of your work allowing you to spend more time building meaningful relationships with employees and addressing their needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Update HR reports
* Support monthly payroll
* Respond to HR queries and employee requests, ensuring confidentiality
* Handle HR queries from our people
* Support on and offboarding administration including background screening
* Champion proper use of our HRIS including monitoring and updating relevant changes, track absences and holidays and other reports.
Essential Skills / Experience
* CIPD qualified
* At least one year of experience in a HR administrative or coordinator role
* Good knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* Proficiency in HRIS software (preferably Employment Hero)
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ethical and with strong integrity
* A proactive approach with the ability to work alone and unsupervised
* An appreciation for quality and drive for excellence in all that you do
* A good sense of humour
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
