If you are an experienced and registered Nurse or Social Worker, our Sleaford/Spalding Learning Disability Team would be excited to hear from you.
This is a Part time permanent position- 29.The Learning Disability Team is proud of the Practitioners we have in our team. Working in a Person-Centred way, carrying out strength based Adult Needs Assessments and Reviews focusing on what the person 'can do' rather than what they 'cannot do'. Whether that be employment, community access or moving into their own home. We help people to overcome the obstacles and challenges they may face, supporting them to reach their potential.
You must have use of a vehicle, be able to travel effectively and within a reasonable timescale to meet service requirements, this could include being responsive to last minute unplanned visits which may be non local/out of county appointments.
Work mileage claims are paid for travel from the office to appointments.
Our core office hours are 08:45-17:15 (Mon-Thu), 08:45-16:45 (Fri). We currently work a mixture of home based and office working, however there will be a requirement to be in the office when required to meet the needs of the service.
We are proud of our teams and the service we provide; The ideal candidate will need to hold either a Social Work or Nurse qualification and be able to show that their registration with SWE/NMC is in date. The nurse qualification does not need to be specific to Learning Disability.
