Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies in accordance with regulatory standards.
2. Assist in the preparation of management accounts, tax returns, and VAT returns.
3. Handle bookkeeping and assist clients with day-to-day accounting needs.
4. Support senior accountants in more complex tasks, including audits and financial analysis.
5. Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, resolve queries, and ensure timely submission of accounts.
6. Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and accounting standards.
7. Provide advice and support to clients on a variety of financial matters.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or AAT with a strong commitment to further professional development.
2. Experience in an accountancy practice, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
4. Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple clients.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
