We invite applications for 2 Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow posts. Two posts are available working between Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole General. It is a fantastic time to join our enthusiastic team as we look to strengthen our already highly regarded undergraduate training programme. Responsibilities:
* Clinical Teaching Fellows will be involved in the delivery of a wide variety of teaching including:
* Bedside teaching on wards
* Small group problem solving / tutorials
* Clinical skills teaching
* Simulation suite scenarios
* Course induction and feedback sessions
* The successful candidate will help to develop and organise teaching sessions for medical students and will liaise with speciality lead clinicians to do so.
* The successful candidate will organise and deliver exam preparation training including a mock OSCE for final year students.
* CTFs will offer pastoral support for medical students.
* CTFs will be role models for medical students in all aspects of professional and clinical life.
* CTFs will be as flexible and adaptable as possible and will try to offer personalised support and training for students.
* The CTF role is primarily educational and the successful candidates will adapt and spend all of their time providing education at key times of year with the flexibility to experience more clinical work at other times of year (average 2 clinical sessions per week).
