We are reaching out to share an exciting opportunity at our well-established pest control company, serving the South of England. We specialize in on-site pest control services, catering to both residential and commercial clients.
Currently, we are seeking a dedicated Office Administrator to join our small yet dynamic team. This full-time, office-based role is integral to ensuring the smooth delivery of our high-standard pest control treatments. While this position does not involve managing staff, it offers the chance to be a key part of our management team, supporting the organization’s operations and needs.
The ideal candidate would bring prior administrative experience (preferable but not essential), though we are committed to providing full training to the right individual. A driving license is highly beneficial, as access to a company vehicle will be available. Our head office is located in Brentwood, and the role requires a consistent presence on-site, as remote work is not an option.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be required to assist the Office Manager and Accounts Manager in the day to day running of a busy office, ensuring that operations are conducted in an efficient and timely manner.
You will need a confident and calm demeanour, an eye for detail, excellent resourcing skills, and the ability to prioritise your daily/weekly tasks. These will include but are not exclusive to:
• Answer incoming calls and respond accordingly
• Tracking and recording of company vehicles
• Upload project photographs into company databases
• Assist in the procurement of materials
• Liaison between technicians and office
• Arranging and tracking treatments.
• Maintaining company filing systems
• Assist in maintaining and updating company social media channels
• Stock control
• General office administration
The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:
• Be able to prioritise workloads and have the ability to multi-task
• Have good communication skills with the ability to work alone and as part of the team
• Be of smart appearance with an approachable and friendly manner
• Have a driving licence (preferable but not essential)
• To be self-motivated, diligent and responsible for their work.
Would prefer someone who lives in or around the brentwood area.
