Job summary Due to the re-location of one of our experienced nurses and with a view to increase the capacity of our nursing team, an exciting opportunity has arisen at Nightingale Valley Practice for a Practice Nurse. We are a very friendly and supportive team, co-located in a purpose built Health Centre set in the beautiful woodland of the surrounding Nightingale Valley with a wide range of associated health services. We are looking for the post-holder to work 30-37 hours per week. Job-shares will be considered. Main duties of the job You will ideally have knowledge and experience of dealing with chronic disease in addition to other Practice Nurse tasks. You will need to be NMC registered with a minimum of 1 year experience working in primary care. The ideal person will be empathetic, enthusiastic and highly motivated person that is confident working alone or as part of a team. This role is also responsible for working towards our annual campaigns, including planning and coordination of clinics, and overseeing QOF to ensuring we are meeting required targets for chronic diseases. In addition you will be expected to take part in the extended hours rota for the practice. About us We are pleased to be able to offer flexibility and autonomy within the skill set of the role.
