Job Description
Corporate Partner
Location: Office, Hybrid, Remote – you choose.
Kingsley Wood is a legal services business on a mission to radically reshape the way legal services are delivered. We are a consultant-based model designed to enable the most talented lawyers to deliver their very best performance and designed to give a much more equitable share of their client revenues than traditional private practice.
We bring together a diverse range of legal minds, liberate them from the usual challenges of institutional private practice and equip them with the tools, incentives and purpose to operate in a way that serves them and their clients better than anyone else.
We are best in class and above all, we’re serious about ensuring our partners have everything they need to develop as a lawyer, grow their practice and make an impact. Above all, we’re committed to providing the most flexible and supportive working life for our people.
Role
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor or Legal Executive to work in the capacity of Partner. Playing a pivotal role in developing client relationships and participating in business development to build new client relationships.
If you're a Corporate Partner with your own following of clients, or if not a strong entrepreneurial spirit, seeking a different type of law firm that values work-life balance and offers a unique sense of personality and community, this opportunity is perfect for you.
Requirements
1. UK qualified with a valid Solicitors' Practicing Certificate.
2. 5 years+ PQE with solid general corporate law and private company M&A background.
3. An interest in working in a variety of corporate areas.
4. Desirable: intra-group corporate and business structuring work.
5. Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit.
What makes us different
1. Earn up to 85% of what you bill.
2. Best-in-class operational support & technology that is 12 years in the making.
3. Flexibility on the hours & days you work, fully liberated from the usual 9-5.
4. Our people can operate from our offices, at home, on client-site or indeed anywhere in the world.
5. Collaboration: our Partners take advantage of working alongside their peers on cross-practice matters.
6. We embrace innovation in everything we do; we’re new and not burdened by years of unnecessary process and precedent.
7. We aspire to build the UK’s first legal entity where progressing gender, ethnicity, social and cultural representation is at the heart, not the periphery.
If you’re ready for a fresh approach and already getting a strong sense of what we can achieve together, it’s time to get in touch.
