Creative Account Manager / Senior Account Manager – 12-Month Maternity Cover (FTC) – Leicestershire (Hybrid)
We are looking for an Account Manager or a Senior Account Manager to join a global retail agency on a 12-month maternity cover contract, starting in late January or early February 2025. There is potential for the role to become permanent after the initial contract period.
This role offers hybrid working with 3 days per week on-site at the client's rural Leicestershire office. Salary depends on your level of experience, up to c. £40k pa if you are at a SAM level and c. £35k pa if you are at an AM level candidate.

They offer end-to-end retail design services that encompass strategy, design, development, production, and deployment. Their client portfolio includes some celebrated household consumer electronics and sports brands, with ambitious plans to grow this already impressive list in the future.
About the Role
As an Account Manager or Senior Account Manager, you will work closely with the Account Director and the broader Client Services team. You will manage key client relationships and oversee the execution of retail design projects and campaigns for a major European consumer electronics brand.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing the day-to-day client communications and organising and attending weekly client meetings
* Oversee the delivery of integrated retail design projects, ensuring a high standard of output
* Briefing internal digital/retail design teams and working external suppliers to ensure the creative meets client requirements, budget, and timing
* Driving profitability and identifying opportunities to grow the account
* Meeting sales targets and profit margin objectives, while regularly reporting on sales performance and forecasts
About You
We are looking for a candidate with:
* A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in client services and project management
* A background in retail design, with experience delivering in-store POS, shop-in-shop, digital retail solutions, or integrated campaigns. If you are coming from an integrated agency background, but have a strong understanding of retail design, we’d still love to hear from you!
* Commercially astute with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
* Excellent communication and presentation skills - you will engage with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
* Experience with consumer electronics brands is ideal but not essential
* We would love to hear from someone who is looking for progression as there will be growth opportunities within the agency, but this is not essential for this contract role
