The job description includes performing physical tasks and
providing social and emotional support caring for service
users with Mental Health Issues, Complex Needs,
and Challenging Behaviour. Helping service users with
personal care, active listening to their concerns, and
discussing any worries they might have with them.
Helping service users with their household tasks such
as laundry. Escorting or accompanying service users
to community outings, appointments, or other events.
Further, providing care in accordance with best practice
and legislative requirements, reflecting policies and
procedures and agreed standards under the direction of
the Senior Carer to support and enable Service Users
to maintain skills and personal interests whilst delivering
person-centred care unique to each individual
