Description
We're looking for a qualified Financial Analyst to help shape financial planning and reporting at Bath Spa University. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team where your insights will directly influence key university decisions.
In this role, you'll support the Head of Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis, working alongside the Senior Financial Analyst to develop and maintain core financial data sets. From tuition fee income and partnership payments to pay expenditure and resource allocation, your work will play a crucial part in ensuring the University's financial sustainability.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in financial modelling, including the forecasting model for the University's five-year plan, and create insightful financial reports using business intelligence tools. Working closely with system accountants, you'll help improve reporting accuracy and streamline financial processes to drive efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone with an ACCA or CIMA qualification (essential), advanced Excel skills, and strong experience in financial modelling and report creation. The successful candidate will have experience of creating, analysing and interpreting financial reports and budgetary information, and producing insights. Experience in higher education, or within a large and complex organisation, would be an advantage.
