Job Overview
This dynamic, forward-thinking, and friendly PCN is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist to take on the day-to-day activities in the small PCN Pharmacy team. You will be developing your clinical skills while supporting Pharmacy Technicians, prescription coordinators, and the range of MDT staff across the 5 practices in the Primary Care Network, all with the purpose of providing quality patient care and medicines optimisation.
This post will be funded through the NHS Network Contract DES for Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).
We expect commitment and expertise in advising on medicines optimisation, safety, and appropriate prescribing in line with local and national policies.

The Chippenham, Corsham and Box Primary Care Network (CCB PCN) provides proactive and coordinated care across the local population of 62,000 people. We have a strong focus on health promotion and personalised care, supporting people to make informed decisions about their health and social care. Situated a few miles south of the M4, near junction 17 Chippenham, the main work location is at the PCN Hub on New Road, but can be across the entire PCN area.
Requirements
1. You must be engaged with completing the 18 month national pathway or equivalent.
2. Aiming to be a pharmacist independent prescriber within the next 3 years.
3. Meet the GPhC CPD requirements for registration on an annual basis.
4. Full driving license as travel will be required to surgeries, care homes, and patients in the PCN area.
