Vacancy Type: Permanent, full time and based on-site. Potential hybrid working but subject to operational needs.
Salary: £30,000-£35,000 (subject to experience)

JOB DUTIES
1. Support the Engineering Team in delivering key project and product line requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
2. Assist with prototype and product builds, particularly during the concept and early development phases.
3. Facilitate and support product trials and testing, including managing the progression of components and samples from both suppliers and in-house manufacturing.
4. Interrogate 3D CAD models using Creo 6.0 or higher; the ability to create or modify models is a plus.
5. Utilise PLM systems (preferably Windchill 10.1+) to access, track, and manage engineering data and documentation.
6. Understand and interpret Bills of Materials (BoMs), CAD models, and engineering drawings to support accurate and efficient project delivery.
7. Exposure to ERP systems such as QAD or SAP would be beneficial in supporting production and supply chain coordination.

EXPERIENCE
Experience & Knowledge
* Formal qualification in Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical environment.
* Background in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, or defence engineering sectors.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including technical tolerances and specifications.
* Experience interrogating 3D CAD models and drawings, ideally using tools such as Creo or SolidWorks.
* Good understanding of workshop theory, engineering practices, and how they apply to real-world product development.
