Human Resources Advisor - 12 Month Secondment - INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY
Hybrid working - partly from any Succession office blended with home working

We now have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and competent HR Advisor to join our fast-paced, dynamic Human Resources Team.
The role:
In this role you will get involved in all areas of HR, providing generalist advice throughout the employee lifecycle. The position also offers opportunities to be involved in project work as we work towards our goal of becoming an employer of choice and grow our company brand.
We are looking for someone with a flexible and positive attitude who enjoys a varied role and is able to manage a busy workload, prioritise and problem solve with minimal supervision.
Your focus will be to deliver a proactive and flexible HR service by providing commercially focused and relevant HR guidance and support to all employees, whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with all company procedures, documented policies and employment legislation.
Candidates should have demonstrable experience providing advice in all key areas of Human Resources including grievances, disciplinaries, performance and absence management. This is a brilliant opportunity to join a friendly and professional HR Team in a growing and ambitious business!
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to be:
1. Supporting Line Managers in all matters relating to HR including terms and conditions, absence and flexible working requests and performance issues.
2. Providing support during the TUPE process following acquisitions.
3. Maintaining integrity of HR employee online database, ensuring clear audit trails and all records are in accordance with GDPR.
4. Providing support to all employees’ well-being including carrying out wellbeing at work assessments and advising on any other support available.
5. Arranging and supporting disciplinary and grievance hearings and producing own correspondence using standardised business formats.
To be successful in the role you will need:
1. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR Advisory role.
2. Hold a relevant degree or CIPD qualification OR a commitment to work towards gaining CIPD qualification.
3. A sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice and some knowledge of employment law.
4. Confident working with the latest technology and be able to use technology intuitively.
5. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to persuade, influence and, when appropriate, challenge with tact and diplomacy.
6. A creative and analytical thinking style, applying tenacity in the face of obstacles.
7. A high level of personal integrity, demonstrated by displaying respect and empathy for others and being consistent, open and honest.
