Northamptonshire Healthcare Foundation Trust
We are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled and motivated Consultant Psychologist to work within the CYP ADHD & ASD multidisciplinary team. You will supervise and professionally lead junior colleagues and work closely with other senior colleagues to form part of the overall leadership of the team. While the team has a specialist remit, presentations have become more complex, so a broad range of experience would ideally place you to manage this job, and the specialist aspect of the role can be developed within the team if necessary.
You will also join a team of Consultant Psychologists working within Children's services, benefiting from robust 'peer support'. This team meets at least once a week. Moreover, you will be supervised and professionally managed by an experienced Consultant Psychologist/ Consultant Systemic Therapist, who is the Clinical Director for Children's services.
We recognise that the NHS context is challenging, but you would be joining a dedicated multidisciplinary team passionate about Children & Young people's ADHD & ASD services. We strive to have close working relationships with operational colleagues, envisioning you having a very close relationship with the relevant service manager.
We very much want to hear from you if you are interested in working with a fantastic group of young people and their families alongside passionate colleagues.
