What willyou be responsible for?
As a Design Coordinator,you'll be working within the Thames Water team, supportingthem in the design phase of construction projects across thenon-infrastructure and wastewater projects within the ThamesValley.
You will provide expertengineering support and leadership, collaborating closely withdiverse stakeholders to delivery design assurance, ensuringprojects are completed on time, within budget, and to the requiredquality standards.
Your day to day willinclude:
* Optimising the engineering assurance process for designsdeveloped by design partners
Managing design change and serving as the primary point ofcontact for technical queries during both construction and designphases
* Collaborating withthe client to understand and deliver their specificrequirements
* Ensuringthe engineering design team, design consultants, and constructionpartners develop technically and economically efficient engineeringsolutions
* Implementing andupholding design quality procedures, ensuring adherence to the'right first time' philosophy
What are we lookingfor?
This role of Design Coordinator is greatfor you if you hold:
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in anengineering discipline or related field
* Experience working on complex technical projects andsupporting on target delivery for time, cost andquality
* IT literacy andproficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit,BIM)
* Full drivinglicence
