Legionella Risk Assessor, SOCOTEC

We’re looking for an experienced City & Guilds qualified Legionella risk assessor to join our team based in the North West of England and assist with the delivery of Legionella risk assessment and related services across the Midlands and North West area of England. Duties include:
1. Carrying out Legionella risk assessments within domestic, industrial, commercial, and healthcare buildings across the operational area.
2. Producing technical reports detailing the findings of those risk assessments, including advice and guidance, in a timely manner to our administration team.
3. Drafting detailed schematics that clearly represent the water systems being assessed.
4. Assisting with the delivery of related water hygiene services as reasonably required.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate or possess the following qualifications/skills:
1. City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment.
2. Good working knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS:8580.
3. Experience of risk assessing complex water systems, not just simple domestic water systems, and writing related technical reports.
4. Experience of drafting schematics of water systems.
5. Proficiency in basic IT applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
6. Excellent communications, both written and verbal.
7. Full UK Driving License.
As part of the role involves working at secure sites, all applicants will be expected to pass the following security checks:
1. Enhanced DBS Check.
2. Ministry of Defence Baseline Security Check.
3. Drugs & Alcohol Screening.
