AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, you will partner with customers, business development (BD), and other teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of AWS cloud services in India. In collaboration with the BD team at AISPL, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of customers in India. As a trusted customer advocate, the solutions architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to help shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS cloud with enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in software/technology BD or consulting. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a solutions architect. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.

Key job responsibilities
As an AWS Solutions Architect, you will:
1. Scope and own customer engagements, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
2. Work backwards from your customer’s business needs to accelerate adoption of the most appropriate AWS technology.
3. Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, AWS professional services consultants, and consulting/managed services partners).
4. Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
5. Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform. Proactively work within the organization to influence the evolution of the platform.
6. Influence decision makers across multiple domains to ensure customer’s success in building applications and services on the AWS platform which align to long-term business goals.
Minimum Requirements
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
