Join Aston Martin as the Programme Leader
We are seeking a dedicated Programme Leader to collaborate closely with the Programme Manager, ensuring the successful definition, planning, and execution of vehicle programmes. This role involves leading the delivery of critical programme milestones and ensuring seamless coordination across teams to meet quality, timing, and cost objectives.
Responsibilities:
You will play a pivotal role in the management of programme lifecycle, including:
* Coordinating programme gateways, tracking deliverables, and preparing evidence packs for review.
* Leading issue identification and resolution throughout the programme lifecycle, including design & development, testing, prototype build and quality concerns.
* Managing programme documentation, including product definition letters and ensuring any changes are carried out in accordance with Aston Martin change control procedures.
* Develop and maintain the programme master plan, whilst collaborating with teams to develop work packages, commodity plans, and engineering release schedules that align with programme objectives. Supporting cross-functional reviews, cost-saving initiatives, and target setting across quality, timing, and functionality.
* Organizing and overseeing prototype builds, ensuring specifications and parts meet requirements.
* Acting as a key liaison during BOM alignment, virtual series events, and build planning activities.
* Leading minor model programmes with financial and delivery responsibility, while deputizing for the Programme Manager when required.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar (or equivalent extensive experience).
* Proven experience in whole vehicle or complex system programme coordination and management.
* In-depth knowledge of product development systems, from design to delivery.
* Expertise in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with confident presentation skills.

What You Can Expect:
This is a full-time role with hybrid working arrangements, 3-4 days a week in the office. The working hours are 7:30-16:30 Monday-Thursday and 7:30-12:30 on Friday.
