Senior Quality Assurance Officer
A fantastic career development opportunity has become available as a Senior Quality Assurance Officer, with one of the UK's leading specials manufacturers. The role itself will be to oversee 4 QA Officers for the Quality of unlicensed medicines (Specials) and provide report directly to the QA Manager.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Quality Assurance Officer
1. Review batches within the Quality Assurance department to meet business needs.
2. Ensure all CAPA’s and Change Controls you have ownership for are progressed and are cGMP compliant within the company’s requested timeframe.
3. Review customer complaints and ensure these are investigated and communicated with the internal team for improvement.
4. Write technical/scientific reports.
5. Review batch documentation prior to QP release.
6. Provide training/support and development to others in the Quality Assurance Team.
7. Train Junior members of staff and assist with career development.
Requirements for the Senior Quality Assurance Officer
1. 2 years’ experience working to pharmaceutical cGMP within QA.
2. Hold a scientific degree.
3. Strong organisation and communication skills.
4. Leadership skills.
5. Problem solving and investigations.
