You'll be someone with sharp instincts, a love for all things supply chain and someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment. No day is the same, but here's an insight in to what you'll cover day to day: Developing and implementing a procurement strategy - taking Huel’s ingredient portfolio to the next level Cross functional collaboration: Working closely with the NPD and technical teams to understand what materials they need to produce the best product Supplier relationship management; building on existing supplier relationships and striking up successful new ones Monitoring supplier's technical, ethical and sustainability standards Cost negotiation Working closely with the Materials Planning Team - ensuring we have appropriate material availability Mentoring and coaching supporting other members of the procurement team with their development Leading on procurement projects Not yet convinced it's the role for you? Well, then you can click HERE to read a more detailed job description and learn about the team What we're looking for in you We are looking for a bright Junior Buyer, with at least 3-4 years experience in a procurement or buying position. Experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG environment is an added bonus Flexibility is key, things can change quite quickly here at Huel so we are looking for an adaptable individual with super communication skills. You will also spend time coaching and developing the team, some experience doing this in a previous role is great, but not a deal breaker What do we offer in return?
