This is an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 physiotherapist with an interest in pulmonary rehabilitation and experience in the management of respiratory patients to contribute to developing community respiratory services within Wiltshire, as part of Wiltshire Health and Care.
We are passionate about respiratory care, and you will join us to assist in driving forward advancements in pulmonary rehabilitation services, delivering programmes that include exercise training and disease management education, promoting patient self-management leading to improved quality of life.
The post is based in Wiltshire where the team has a base in Chippenham and Amesbury. You will need to be a car driver, owner, and prepared to cover a large geographical area.
The post is for 37.5 hours but is open to negotiation for the right candidate; similarly, a development post would be considered.
Main duties of the job
You will work as part of an established integrated team that delivers care closer to home and have the opportunity to carry out physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for patients with respiratory conditions. The post also provides an opportunity to deliver multidisciplinary functions to respiratory patients in a variety of community settings, participate in teaching and supporting the community teams, and carry out clinical audits to assist service development.
If you are looking for an exciting career development opportunity and consider you have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to complement this position, please contact Jane Lindsay, Head of Service, on 07787668459 to arrange an informal visit.
