Hunter AHP are currently seeking a skilled Locum Clinical Pharmacist to join the team at a NHS hospital in Oxfordshire. This exciting opportunity involves working across a variety of wards!
* Contract Length: Ongoing contract, possibility to go permanent upon review
* Hours: 9am - 5pm (30 minute break)
* Experience: Previous clinical experience is essential and required to be considered for this post
* Flexibility: 3/4/5 days per week available
* Duties: Job role will be working across a variety of wards
Key Responsibilities:
* Dispensing medications and ensuring accurate supply across different hospital wards.
* Reviewing prescriptions and providing medication counselling to medical staff.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant pharmaceutical legislation and hospital policies.
* Delivering clinical pharmacy services including therapeutic drug monitoring and patient medication reviews.
* Liaising with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
* Providing advice on formulary compliance, drug interactions, and safety.
Requirements:
* GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
* Hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in a ward-based setting, is preferred.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Previous experience in NHS settings is desirable but not essential.
