A high-achieving and welcoming Jewish Faith Primary School in Westminster is looking for a specialist teacher to support small-group teaching in Year 5 and Year 6. This flexible, part-time role is ideal for an experienced teacher passionate about helping students build confidence and reach high standards in core subjects.
Role Overview:
As a Part-Time Teacher, you will work with small groups of pupils, as Year 5 and Year 6 classes are split into three streams of 10 students each. This structure allows for focused teaching, ensuring every child achieves their full potential. A strong background in Maths and experience in SATs preparation would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in English and Maths, with a particular focus on Maths and SATs preparation
✅ Assess and track pupil progress, adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
✅ Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to provide tailored support
✅ Create a nurturing and engaging learning environment that builds confidence
✅ Provide constructive feedback to students, teachers, and parents where necessary
✅ Contribute to the school's excellent academic standards through effective teaching
What We're Looking For:
🎓 Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working in KS2
📚 Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum, particularly in Maths and English
👩🏫 Experience working with small groups or targeted teaching support
💡 Ability to engage and motivate students, helping them overcome learning barriers
🤝 Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with staff and parents
