As we prepare for our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a proven, entrepreneurial Marketing Manager who can turn strategy into action, take ownership of key technology partnerships, and drive real commercial outcomes for our business. This role is not about maintaining the status quo – it’s about creating, executing, and leading high-impact marketing initiatives that generate revenue and elevate both presence and recognition of CDS Tech in the various market where we operate.
About the role
The newly formed CDS Tech business is seeking a highly driven Marketing Manager with a proven track record in Technology Services. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role with no team to delegate to – the right candidate will have conceived, initiated and then personally led marketing initiatives that directly drove revenue growth in their business.
We’re looking for someone who has vision, takes initiative, and makes things happen without direction. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing activities that generate high-value leads, drive commercial growth, and position CDS Tech as the ‘go-to’ professional services partner for Cloud, Security, Data, and Digital transformation projects in the UK and beyond.
This is not a role for someone who has merely been part of a successful team – we want someone who has been the catalyst for success.
Responsibilities
* Own the marketing function. Taking full responsibility for marketing strategy and execution, with a laser focus on lead generation and commercial impact.
* Lead generation and growth. Developing and implementing campaigns that generate real, evidential pipeline opportunities and revenue growth.
* Partner marketing excellence. Leveraging current and future technology partnerships to amplify our reach, credibility, and marketing budget.
* Maximise our strategic marketing partner relationships. Inherit and own existing marketing specific partnerships, including our relationship with Entourage, ensuring they deliver measurable value, high-impact events, and aligned marketing pipeline with converted opportunities.
* Strategic outsourcing. Ensure we can scale by developing and managing a professional roster of external agencies, contractors and/or skilled freelance resources to maximise our marketing competency, scale and efficiency while keeping your focus on the strategic, high-value initiatives.
* Senior stakeholder engagement. Work closely with senior leadership, service and product owners, technical teams and partner marketing peers to craft compelling go-to-market messaging and award-winning campaigns.
* Digital and event marketing. Deliver impactful digital, content, and event-driven marketing programs that drive engagement, brand awareness of CDS Tech and ultimately sales growth.
Requirements
* The following criteria is deemed as essential; candidates will be expected to provide clear, demonstrable evidence of these capabilities during the interview process.
* Technology services experience – must have worked in a Technology, Cloud, or Digital Services business with clear evidence of marketing-driven revenue impact.
* Entrepreneurial mindset – a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can execute without constant direction.
* Lead generation expertise – proven experience in designing and executing marketing programs that result in tangible revenue with associated attribution models and data capture.
* Partner marketing mastery – ability to leverage technology partner ecosystems to drive awareness, demand, and co-marketing opportunities.
* Hands-on execution – this is a ‘doer role’ not a delegator position. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves.
* Stakeholder leadership – able to command the attention of senior leaders, product professionals and technical leaders to drive marketing priorities forward.
* Outsourcing and scale – experience working with outsourced marketing resources to scale efforts efficiently.

Vetting
Due to the nature of this role and the business, you will need to either currently hold UK Government clearance to a minimum of SC level or be able to undergo and maintain this level of clearance.
