Venatu Recruitment are proud to annonuce that an industry leading client of ours who are the UK's biggest Galvanizing Company are looking for several Galvanazing Operative join them at their Crediton site As mentioned, the client is extremely well-established as is the UK's leading figure in its field having 14 sites nationwide and turn over circa £100 million a year and is only growing bigger and bigger as time goes by They operate in several key sectors including Rail, Power and Oil & Gas and now have several opportuniies to join them in success. Due to their busy nature and continued growth, they're now looking for several Galvanizing Operatives to join their nigthshift ASAP This role is paying up £29640 per annum and is only 36 hours per week The shift pattern being Monday to Friday: 1 x 12-hour shift (6pm – 6am) and 3 x 8-hour shifts (10pm – 6am) As a valued member of the team, you will help to deliver our company's mission being the ‘UK's Galvanizer of choice' through being an integral part of a team that delivers high-quality products and service to all our customers. You will be based in a factory environment and main responsibilities include: Preparing work to enter the galvanizing process. Operating overhead crane equipment and forklifts. Ensuring working areas are kept safe and tidy, working with your colleagues and company systems to highlight any concerns. Following training and procedures for all production-based activities and practices in your area. The type of candiate they're looking for is: Someone who is a team-player, conscientious and has a ‘can-do' attitude. Someone who's physically fit as the work often involves a reasonable amount of physical activity, so it would suit someone who is confident in lifting and handling work (with appropriate training offered to all). Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential.
